Our Brittonfield and Broad Road (CGH) offices house state of the art CT diagnostic imaging equipment. Our newest CT scanner is located at our Brittonfield office. It is a 40-slice Siemens product known as the Somatom Sensation Open. This CT imaging meets today’s challenges by combining the advantages of a large bore with advanced multi-slice CT technology. The 16-slice CT Siemens product located at our Broad Road cancer center is an outstanding CT option for diagnostic clarity and precision. These premier CT solutions not only offer exceptional images for diagnostic purposes, they also provide diagnostic support for radiation therapy planning and complements HOA’s CyberKnife® and Varian Linear Accelerator.

Each of our practice sites maintain an on-site laboratory. The main laboratory, however, possesses the most comprehensive on-site test menu and is located at our Brittonfield office. This main laboratory services all practice sites and augments the smaller on-site testing menus. HOA’s laboratories are certified and accredited by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditations (COLA), the most stringent accrediting body for group practice laboratories. Our testing menu includes cell blood counts (CBC), comprehensive blood chemistry analysis, coagulation testing (PT), Urinalysis (UA), Alpha-Feto Protein (AFP), Beta Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (BHCG), Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA), Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Beta 2 Microglobulin, Ferritin, Vitamin B12, Folate, and cancer antigen markers, CA-27.29, CA-125, and CA 19-9. Analyzers such as the Bayer Advia, Roche Integra, Tosoh AIA provide the instrumentation for laboratory testing.
