Gentle Yoga for Cancer Survivors Level 1

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga integrates bio-mechanics relating to movement, which, when applied to yoga poses, makes them safer and more effective. This practice can increase bone density, lean muscle tissue, balance, corrects posture, stabilizes the core, and strengthens the spine. We make use of props to support and assist increased effectiveness.

Tai Chi Beginner

Beginner class ongoing Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m. 

Tai Chi is a mind/body exercise which integrates slow, intentional movements with breathing and cognitive skills to help strengthen, relax and coordinate and integrate the physical body and mind and improve health, personal development and self-defense.
