In 1982, Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY was founded by Drs. John Gullo and Santo DiFino. Shortly after it was founded, Drs. Anthony Scalzo and Jeffrey Kirshner joined the practice. Since then, Drs. David Churchill, Heidi Puc, Dennis Kotlove, Richard Cherny, Daniel Bingham, Tracy Alpert, and Joseph Navone, Stefania Morbidini, Benny Wong and Olga Kligerman have joined the group. Dr. Thomas J. Maher was a partner in the practice until his death in 2006..
